Hello there!
I’m Trevor Irish (genderqueer, they/them), nonprofit services consultant and owner of PDX Nonprofit Consulting. I began working in the nonprofit sector in 2015. I founded PDX Nonprofit Consulting in 2025 to expand on my decade of nonprofit consulting experience. In 2020, I earned my Master’s of Nonprofit Management from the University of Oregon, specializing in fundraising and nonprofit legal issues.
I work primarily with very small nonprofits (fewer than 5 staff), but I have experience working with large healthcare and education nonprofits as well. I’ve consulted unincorporated mutual aid groups as well as decades old organizations.
Over the last decade, I’ve worked with a wide range of missions including:
- Animal welfare
- Hunger
- Homeownership
- Environment
- Outdoor education & recreation
- Survivor advocacy
- Land trusts
- Queer arts
As I like to say, I will work with anyone, “left of center”. If this is you please contact me!
In my private life, I enjoy storytelling and adventure in many forms, including live theater, hiking, road trips, tabletop roleplaying, creative writing, and activism.
